Tagawa Gardens is honored to host Award Winning Designer, HGTV star and host of The Outdoor Room! In his 2014 Spring/Summer USA Tour, Jamie will share his multi-award winning outdoor design philosophy with budding designers and homeowners. Using a variety of hand-picked PROVEN WINNERS® plants, Jamie will demonstrate how to create the perfect garden oasis for your space.
He will also be signing copies of his latest book, Edible Garden Design and sharing his innovative new ideas on designing a garden integrated with edible plants that will make your garden look as good as it tastes!

As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebration, on August 4 at 1:00 PM we were honored to host a special appearance and booksigning by Jamie Durie, well-known landscape designer, horticulturist and host of HGTV's Outdoor Room! Approx. 220 attended this special event!

Jamie Durie's passion for gardening and plants is sure to inspire. He is founder and director of the international award-winning landscape architecture and design company, DURIE DESIGN, and has also produced a successful retail line of merchandised outdoor living and lifestyle products. He is host of HGTV’s Outdoor Room and author of nine best-selling books. A committed environmentalist and pioneer of ‘The Outdoor Room’ concept in Australia, Jamie has completely changed the face of landscape design, inspiring a whole new generation to rediscover their garden. On Australia Day 2012 the Governor General of Australia honored Durie with the award of the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community as an ambassador and supporter of a range of charitable and environmental organizations, and as a landscape designer.
