We offer plastic pot recycling for our community. Please return your clean plastic pots, packs and trays (dirt knocked out) to our Garden Plastic Recycling Bins located near our Soils & Bark Pick up area on the west side of our store. |

Tagawa Gardens is striving to carry products that are gentler to our earth. We know that safer products are important to you and your family. You will find an expanded selection of natural and organic plant care items in our Garden Supplies Department .
Also in our Garden Supplies Department, you will find beneficial insects such as ladybugs and earthworms. Other beneficials such as lacewings and preying mantis and other insects are available—purchase a voucher here, then go online or send in the postcard and the insects will be shipped directly to your home!
In our Annuals Department, you will find many Certified Organically Grown plants. Look for the ‘USDA Organic’ symbols. Plants tagged with"Grey Kitty® Purr-furred" are grown sustainably here at TagawaGardens You will also find many plants in biodegradable pots such as those made from wheat straw, rice hulls and recycled paper.
By the way, our Growing/Production Department uses natural, organic fertilizers on our plants whenever possible. Daniels is the brand, and it is available in our Garden Supplies Department. We also use IPM (Integrated Pest Management) which is a program of controlling pests using more Earth & Paw Friendly methods.
In our Gift Department, look for greeting and note cards made from recycled paper. You will also find that our lotions and soaps are cruelty-free and made from natural products. Some of our gift items are made from recycled products.
In our Tree & Shrub Department, Monrovia brand plants are grown at Monrovia Nursery, which is a leader in sustainability. Here is information about their Environmental Stewardship.
