Because all of our mascots, Grey Kitty 1 through 5, were strays or from shelters, Tagawa Gardens is committed to giving back to help our animal and pet friends. Please consider adoption from Grey Kitty’s friends at all the shelters listed below!!

The second annual Simply Beautiful® Container Gardens for a Simply Purr-fect Cause is being held in conjunction with Grey Kitty® Birthday event on July 16 & 17! On Sun., July 9, 2011, container gardens will be created using Simply Beautiful® plants, by volunteers from the non-profit groups from Grey Kitty® Birthday event . These container gardens will be sold at silent auction during the Grey Kitty® event with the winners being announced on Sun., July 17 at 3 PM. 100% of the proceeds for each container garden goes to the group creating the containers. Thank you to Simply Beautiful® for donating the plants for this event! |
Grey Kitty® Birthday/Animal Rescue & Pet Adoption Info Event is held every July.
For 2011, the event is Sat. & Sun., July 16 & 17. Over 25 animal & pet rescue groups attend, bringing animals that are up for adoption at their shelters or foster homes. If you see an animal that you would like to adopt, you can begin the process at this event and you can continue the process later as per the requirements of each organization.
Birthday cake and lemonade are served, too, to make the celebration complete!!
