With the weather warming it is time to start thinking about getting those ponds ready for spring. Before the time gets away, you should be planning out your goals for the year. Maybe you want to add on to your pond or incorporate fish. Perhaps this is the year you add a fountain or lights. If your pond has been dormant for a while, you may need to do some preliminary pond cleaning to clean up any winter messes.
Remember, the actions and maintenance programs you start in the spring can pay big dividends in the summer when most pond problems occur.
